A little rant

Just over two weeks ago we had the federal election, and I was thoroughly fed up with election propaganda by the time we voted. The following two weeks consisted of almost constant reporting and speculation as to who might be eventually able to form a government, and now, just as that question seems to have been decided, the student union elections have started their propaganda campaigns. The uni campaigns are in some ways worse because they're more visible, in your face, and difficult to avoid. So far this week I've been taking the environmental high road by refusing to accept leaflets on tree-saving grounds.
